Organisation for Non-Executive Independent Directors (ONEID)
Following Naresh Chandra Committee's report requiring
50% directors of listed companies to be non-executive and independent,
IOD has received a large number of enquiries to empanel for appointment
of non-executive directors both from companies and aspiring directors.
It has accordingly established an organization called Organization for
Non Executive Independent Directors (ONEID) to draw up a panel of suitable
directors for such appointments. Some 16,000 directors are required
according to recommendation.
Those desirous of joining the pool of directors are required to send
their full CV with details of qualification and experience to the address
given below together with the processing fee of Rs. 750 through demand
draft/cheque in favour of "Institute of Directors" payable
at Delhi. No fee is payable for IOD members.
