In terms of general Board performance, the following will be covered:

 
  • Board composition, succession, selection, induction and development.

  • Understanding and optimizing director contributions to enhance the quality of meetings and decision-making. Dealing with the shadow side of Governance.

  • Creating the right balance between regulatory control, risk management and wealth creation.

  • The changing role of the Chairman.

For the individual participant, there will be an opportunity to improve the following.
 
  • Personal governance and time management

  • Interpersonal governance - Board dynamics.

  • Intergroup level - relationships with the CEO and executive, shareholders and other stakeholders.

  • Systemic level - how to cope with an increasing complex external environment.

The workshop will conclude with practical action plans and ways forward.
